Chamber of Commerce
The Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TBCCI, was
founded in 1980 as a non-profit making organisation to provide its
members with a wide range of services targeted at promoting bilateral
trade, investment and joint ventures between the UK and Turkey.
Membership services:
The Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry works together
with the commercial departments of the governments and maintains
strong links with most of the recognised trade organisations in
Turkey and the UK. TBCCI Membership enables your company to have
maximum exposure within these bodies and provides access to a strong
member networking and support systems.
TBCCI will provide access to a network of international Chambers
of Commerce; contact, arrange to meet new Potential Clients, suppliers
or buyers; experts, exchange of business ideas; provide search for
a Business Partner, assist you in Starting a Business, Lobby and
represent. You can join Trade Missions between the UK and Turkey
and attend special networking events, seminars, workshops and exhibitions
in Turkey, North Cyprus and the UK.
Trade Services:
Introduction and contacts. List of importers and exporters in response
to enquiries received from both Turkey and the UK. Introduction,
referrals and individual contacts for commercial and legal consultation
Information and Advice:
Special legislation and statistical data concerning bi-lateral trade
between the UK and Turkey, and general information regarding the
economies of both countries.
Information and advice to Turkish and UK exporters and importers
regarding the special aspects of the UK and the Turkish markets,
trade and banking procedures. Referrals to legal and financial contacts
for consultation.
Certification of Commercial Documents:
TBCCI is authorised by both the Turkish and UK authorities to issue
and validate Certificates of Origin and certify Invoices, Special
Certificates, Letters, Powers of Attorney, Articles of Association,
Memorandum of Association and other Commercial Documents.
Translation / Interpreting:
For Turkish to English and English to Turkish translation requirements,
we will provide or recommend authorised translation and notarisation
services.
Financial, commercial, legal, scientific, technical, and medical
translations and interpreting.
Debt Recovery & Legal Assistance:
TBCCI makes referrals to
professional organisations to provide these services who would be
pleased to quote for specific enquiries before proceeding. Service
