President of the State of Israel Shimon Peres, accompanied by a delegation, will pay an official visit to Turkey on November 11-13, 2007.

President Peres will have a meeting with President Abdullah Gül on November 12. He will meet the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Köksal Toptan and receive Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan. President Peres will also address the Turkish Grand National Assembly on November 13.

At the meetings to be held on the occasion of his visit, there will be an exchange of views on Turkish-Israel relations and international issues of common concern.

President Peres will deliver a speech at Bilkent University on November 11 and attend the meeting of the Ankara Forum on November 13, together with President Abdullah Gül and President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas.

President Peres and his delegation will depart from Turkey on November 13 following his contacts in Istanbul.
