T.C. Londra Büyükelçiligi Ekonomi Müsavirligi

Londra Ekonomi Müsavirligi görevleri, resmi ve özel kurum ve kuruluslarla temas ve görüsmeler yapmak suretiyle Hazine Müstesarligi görevleriyle ilgili bilgileri toplamak, degerlendirmek ve sonuçlarini raporlamak, ekonomik münasebetlerimizin gelistirilmesi konusunda çalismalar yapmak, ülkemizin ekonomik ve mali çikarlarinin korunmasi, piyasa hareketlerinin takibi gibi konularda gerekli çalismalarin yapilarak saglanan bilgilerin saglikli bir sekilde ekonomik ve mali çevrelere zamaninda ulasmasina yardimci olmakla birlikte, ikili ve çok tarafli ekonomik anlasmalar ile ilgili hazirlik çalismalari yürütmektir.

Öte yandan, Ekonomi Müsavirligi görevleri arasinda ülkemizin dogrudan yabanci yatirim promosyonu stratejilerinin yürütülmesinde destek saglamak ve bu konularda çalismalar yapmak bulunmaktadir.

Ayrica, Ekonomik ve mali kurumlarin faaliyetlerini, toplanan ulusal veya uluslararasi ekonomik ve mali kongre ve konferanslari takip etmek, dis kamu borçlanmalarinin hazirlik, akit, kefalet ve garanti islemlerini yürüterek dis kamu borçlanmalarina müncer olacak müzakere ve haberlesmeyi yapmak, saglanan dis kamu borçlarinin ve kültür yardimlari disindaki dis yardimlarin kullanilmasina, bu borç ve dis yardimlara ait mukavele ve anlasmalarin uygulanmasi ile ilgili olarak her türlü temas, müzakere ve gerekli islemlerin yapilmasi hususunda verilecek görevleri yerine getirmektir.

Office of the Economic Counsellor

Office of the Economic Counsellor is mainly responsible for the improvement of the economic relations between the UK and Republic of Turkey by conducting relations with official and private institutions on issues relating to the responsibility area of the Undersecretariat of Treasury of the Republic of Turkey.

The office carries out preparatory studies concerning bilateral and multilateral economic agreements while working on promoting the mutual economic relations between the two countries. Additionally, duties and responsibilities include following and reporting the financial and economic developments in the UK.

The office is responsible for the execution of the preparation and contracting stages of the foreign borrowing process of the Turkish Government and following up the applications of the credit agreements.

The Economic Counsellor's Office supports the execution of the foreign direct investment promotion strategies of Turkey and informs the potential investors regarding related issues.

Moreover, participating in the studies of International Financial institutions and work for the improvement of the relations with international financial institutions, governmental institutions and investment banks are among the duties of the Economic Counsellor.
